What is the best web hosting company? Is Powweb any good?
A frequently-asked query:
I do computer repair part time, I would like to upload my web page, do I need any kind of license? Thanks for your help, also which is the best web hosting company??
Answer: You are not alone. A cheap but unreliable hosting will not be the best hosting for you. Web hosting is the heart of your online presence and can mean the life or death to your business.
Before we answer your question, let us review the 7 factors to look for in a good web hosting. An excellent hosting:
- has at least 30 days money back guarantee,
- gives more-than-enough diskspace,
- offers unlimited bandwidth,
- gives unlimited add-on domains,
- has easy-to-use Site Builder,
- has Fantastico and QuickInstall to quickly install apps like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, OSCommerce, ZenCart and more
- can be easily upgraded to VPS or one of their cheap dedicated server plans if and when your business require.
To answer your question, 92% of Webmasters recommended to try Hostgator. If you are building your first website and needs a hosting plan, experts usually highly recommend going with Hostgator because they are the best cheap cpanel hosting around.
What if you find out that Hostgator sucks after you signed up with them? HG has 45 days, longer-than-industry-average money back guarantee so you have ample time to test them out. They are rated A+ by Better Business Bureau which shows their commitment to customer satisfaction. You also do not have to pay for the first month. You can just try their fully functional hosting service – you pay only $0.01 (you need to use the special coupon code). Do you know any other hosting company that can give you that kind of assurance? Anybody can grab an account from Hostgator for almost FREE

Who Should Not Try Hostgator
To be honest, no web hosting service is perfect. Drawback of Hostgator includes:
- No free domain name – but you can easily get a domain name from the best domain registrar such as Godaddy or Namecheap for $10 or less. Would you agree that a website is not complete without a domain name?
- You need to pay full price after your first invoice – well, they need to make money too and all the support and great service do come with a cost
If you are still not sure if HG is right for you, or you have specific query about anything at all, try the Live Chat at HG (click on the Chat icon on top right of that page). They are fast and knowledgeable. Just shoot them some questions before you decide.

No you don’t need any license for uploading a page about part time computer repairing.
For a web host I use: http://www.bestwebhost.solutionsarticles.com?id=m3y227 and am more than happy with them. Well cheap, reliable and have more to offer than ANY host out there.

It depends on what your looking for, make sure it’s scalable and has more than one plan. What type of site are you gonna be running? If it’s something like a online store then you have to make sure the web host offers built in eccommerce functionality, it all depends on what you want to do with your website, but no matter what it has to be scalable so it can grow with your business.

Yeah, Powweb is one of the best, and a pretty good price.
I recommend one of these http://www.webhostingtable.com
Fatcow has the best offer right now.
Their standard price is $88/year
but they have the 50% sale right now.
Disk space: Unlimited
Bandwidth: Unlimited
A Free domain name
Unlimited domains and subdomains
Price: $44/year
They’re one of the oldest hosting companies, founded 1998, they’re also one of the largest, currently hosting about 500,000 websites.
Their hosting plan includes a web builder, so you can create your site just by drag and drop (without any programming), or you could install WordPress (easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.

Powweb is NOT GOOD AT ALL.
Let me help you choose a better one.
Well , there is hostgator , google host yahoo and godaddy.
But the most recommended and best web host so far is www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com ; Network Juice.
They now offer plans starting around $0.99/mo for a great amount of diskspace plus everything else unlimited. Plus they’ve manage to keep up 99% Uptime.
They have all features such as PHP5, java ,Cpanel , Fantastico ( allows you to auto install Blogging systems and CMS portals without wasting time) , Cron Job , Apache ,Unlimited Dadabase , ftp accounts and much more. Basically EVERYTHING! is supported.
There are other affordable plans as well in NetworkJuiceHosting.com.
Hostgator.com is also a great host , but there Uptime time is not so good. Also , customer service is very poor , Not to many features are supported.
Google.com not so sure , But i know there’s lots of files they do not support , no Cpanel , and i don’t know how come , but they have been receiving downtimes lately in their host servers.
yahoo , let me just say it’s the worst web host ever ,you can’t even host the amount of domains you want to host . Including FatCow.com. The downtime is way to much , and many files are un-compatible in fatcow for some reason.
To buy a domain , the most recommended site is godaddy , but not for it’s hosting!! I Tell you !!!.
For a Great Affordable web host with maximum features , the most recommended web host is www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com . ; Network Juice Hosting.
You are getting your answers from an expert , and yes I have tried all these web host.
That’s all I got to say mate

First you do not need any license unless you are using images/code/text that is not your own.
Second for web hosting advice. I will not tell you which one to go for, i will just tell you what you should keep in mind.
a. Any host advertising unlimited space/bandwidth. This is just not possible, do not fall for this trick.
b. Because i think you do not have any hosting experience therefore go for a host that gives wysiwyg editors and site builders as part of the hosting package. These will help you a lot.
c. Check google for reviews for the host that you finally choose. Do not go to specific review sites which are paid to review better yet look in forums.
d. http://webhostingtalk.com could be overwhelming at first but you can find what other people are saying about your chosen host.

I’ve tried quite a few; the best I’ve found so far is Hostgator – reasonably priced, easy to use, and great customer service – whenever I’ve contacted them with questions or requests, they’ve responded within minutes.
Cost is $7.95 month for UNLIMITED space and domains. Use this code: wordpress
and get your 1st month for just one penny!

Winninghosting.com is always great for me because their staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. Plus their prices are great, $1.99 a month for basic sites and $3.99 a month if you need more features. Also watch out for companies that say unlimited because truly there’s no such thing. They stop you from filling up too much stuff on their harddrives with their fine print in their terms of services. I found that out the hard way. Just go with a company that has a great price and a money back guarantee and you’ll be fine.
